JCB 437 AGRI
The JCB 437 wheel loader, using our latest CommandPlus cab, is designed to provide strength, reliability and comfort all day long. As a key part of its production processes, it is designed to achieve the highest levels of productivity, providing excellent efficiency, without the time-consuming inconvenience of a DPF.
With the introduction of the CommandPlus cab, we are providing the best comfort, visibility, ergonomics and low noise levels in this class of machine, in addition to numerous other benefits of this wheel loader. Expect also excellent serviceability, safety and many other benefits.
- 185 hp maximum engine power
- 15442 kg operating weight
- 2.7 m³ bucket capacity
Our range of wheel loaders incorporates customer input at every stage of the design process, so that they are tailored to meet buyers' requirements. These requirements include safety, performance, ease of operation and maintenance, productivity, reliability and comfort.
As a result, every loader we produce, from the 2-tonne compact hydrostatic drive models to the huge 24-tonne machines with powershift transmission, shares the same DNA.
Each of our wheel loaders is designed first and foremost for high productivity, superior reliability, low maintenance and high versatility. We offer various loader models to meet the requirements of all customers. There is also a whole range of different equipment options and additional attachments.
In terms of performance, the JCB wheel loader is all about high power, high torque, high power-to-weight ratio, powerful breakout forces and excellent traction.
Finite element analysis and extensive hardware and strength testing ensure excellent structural strength and durability. Cold chamber tests guarantee starting efficiency up to -20C.JCB's precision machining techniques ensure high tolerances and accurate pin and bushing placement. State-of-the-art manufacturing processes such as robotic machining, precision painting technology and modern assembly techniques are used to achieve the highest levels of quality.
A solid rear counterweight protects the rear of your JCB 437, including the rear lights and cooling block, from damage.
Hoses passing through the main joint are carefully guided and fixed, far enough away from the jamming points.
The new front chassis is more durable than before. To ensure exceptional longevity, it has been reinforced with additional ribs and gussets. Additional protection is provided by fitted impact-resistant wing edges and profiles.
This wheeled loader has built-in steel fluid reservoirs, providing exceptional protection against leaks, a much better solution than the plastic reservoirs favoured by some competitors.
There are two colour LCD screens for navigating the working menus. One of them can display the image from the rear camera. This simple, specially designed interface is easy and intuitive to use thanks to the optional control knob.
Standard equipment on the JCB 437 wheeled loader includes heated exterior mirrors, which can be electronically adjusted from the cab. Convex mirrors are also available to widen the field of view.
The all-new ventilation system has nine defogging vents and six ventilation vents to ensure visibility and operator comfort in all situations. In addition, the system operates quietly.
All controls are seat-mounted, moving with the suspended seat. You can choose the control system best suited to your operators: a single-lever joystick or a multi-lever version, both with electro-hydraulic functions for exceptional precision.
Following extensive ergonomic studies of the operator environment, we developed the ‘Command Driving Position’ system, which ensures optimal positioning of controls, taking into account the drivers' diverse physiques.
The access steps are sloped, evenly spaced and complemented by well-placed handgrips so as to ensure 3-point contact at all times. Non-slip walkways and additional optional hand grips ensure operators can move safely around the machine. The door hinges are now fixed to the A-pillar of the machine. This simple change has provided much better access through a larger and wider door opening. This means you have safer access to the rear of your loader.
Full aprons have been carefully designed, covering the mudguards, to minimise forward mud splashes for all tyre types. This solution improves safety and reduces dirt build-up on your machine.
Engines equipped with a DPF can be exposed to a fire hazard due to the high amount of heat generated in filter regeneration mode. The new 437 does not use a DPF, so this risk does not apply to it.
The cabin is mounted on shock absorbers, meets ROPS / FOPS standards and protects against dust thanks to positive pressure. You can choose ambient air filtration or recirculating carbon filters.
The hydraulic cooling fan automatically responds to the ambient temperature and adjusts its speed to optimise energy and reduce fuel consumption. An additional benefit is lower noise levels. Our five-speed torque converter locking gearbox on this wheeled loader means you can enjoy 100% efficiency in every gear, which delivers fuel savings. Shorter gear ratios mean lower engine revolutions in each gear.
Braking at wheel speed means that the brakes rotate at the same speed as the wheels to reduce heating and friction and increase fuel economy. When there is no load, the control valves in the valve block lower the arms using gravity, thus reducing fuel consumption.
JCB's innovative variable displacement pumps power a load-sensitive valve block that draws power only when required, ensuring precise, efficient machine control.
The JCB Smoothride bucket cushioning system reduces impact loads, reduces material spillage and lowers structural stresses, and improves operator comfort. The speed that causes the system to engage is set from the cab using the state-of-the-art Command Plus control.
The heating and ventilation filters are conveniently located behind the external access panel. From inside the cab, you can check the windscreen washer fluid level, engine oil level and coolant level; all other routine checks and lubrication points - from ground level. The cyclonic purge engine filter provides four times the cleaning capacity of a standard air filter. It is a longer-lasting system with fewer components and higher efficiency, providing better engine protection.
Most Tier 4 Final / Stage IV engines use diesel particulate filters (DPFs), costly and time-consuming to replace. The Cmmins engine has no DPF, reducing servicing and operating costs.
Thanks to the use of excellent components in the JCB 437 wheel loader ( Cummins engine, ZF gearbox and axles, Rexroth pumps and Parker valve blocks), exceptional machine life has become standard.
