DRIVELINE PERFORMANCE
JCB and Kohler have produced a unique engine for compact wheel loaders for the 411. It complies with Stage IIIB / Tier 4F standards using only the DOC system, and the power and torque at low rpm ensure fuel efficiency. The compact dimensions ensure a small turning radius. The variable-speed cooling fan, driven from the crank mechanism, ensures optimum rpm in all situations, without excessive use of engine power. Power is transferred efficiently to the ground thanks to the innovative chassis, with all components working perfectly together. For the JCB 411, we offer several axle options, including open differential axles for hard surfaces and limited slip differentials for soft and muddy ground. Our optional 100% switchable front axle differential lock provides exceptional traction in muddy terrain and does not generate shear forces, so does not damage the ground when not in use. It can be switched on in motion and under load. Thanks to the hydrostatic drive, the 409 wheel loader is very easy to operate, even for inexperienced people. This means there is less risk of overloading the machine at the expense of excessive fuel consumption.
FULL PRODUCTIVITY
With a high-flow option, the JCB 411 compact wheel loader has a hydraulic capacity increased by 30 litres and a higher flow rate of 120.8 litres/min. The JCB articulated steering system has an easy-to-use, built-in side shift - ideal for pallet work. The JCB 411 is an extremely versatile loader, useful for a multitude of tasks, with plenty of options to create the best solution to your needs, as well as a huge number of easily interchangeable attachments. Equip your loader with our new towing option and you get a tow bar with rear electrics and hydraulics, allowing you to tow trailers up to 3.5t or hang rear, attachments such as a salt spreader. By splitting power between drive and hydraulics, our impulse pedal enables precise, efficient, smooth load handling. Our loaders become even more versatile when you use front and rear attachments simultaneously. You can, for example, combine a snow plough and a rear sand spreader.
QUALITY, RELIABILITY AND DURABILITY
We have used the best engine, gearbox and axle components in the 411 loader, from suppliers such as DANA and Bosch. This loader has a strong chassis and the best possible load distribution; this allows optimum absorption of external forces. We know how heavy material handling can be, so we have used a reinforced central joint with a +/- 40 steering angle. Precision machining ensures high tolerances and accurate pin and bushing locations. The rear lights are recessed into a solid counterweight for protection against damage, and the hydraulic hoses are carefully routed and fastened, well away from potential jamming points. We use state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, finite element analysis and extensive equipment testing to ensure the highest levels of quality. Cold chamber testing guarantees start-up efficiency to -20C.
COMFORT, SAFETY AND EASE OF SERVICING
The new 411 wheeled loader provides the best possible operator environment with low noise levels, conducive to productive work without fatigue and in comfortable conditions. Visibility is first-rate, with an excellent view around the machine thanks to the large window panels and narrow cab pillars. This is further enhanced by the parallel geometry of the loader arms. A large door opening and well-placed steps provide easy and safe access to the 411 loader cab, and controls are ergonomically located within easy reach. Service capabilities on this compact loader are similarly impressive, with grouped daily inspection points accessible from ground level, a wide-open hood and long 500-hour service intervals. Oil-bath disc brakes ensure almost completely maintenance-free operation, and all service points have been grouped together for convenience.
SAFETY AND SECURITY
To protect your fleet from theft, the JCB 411 wheel loader can be fitted with a new version of the immobiliser. The access steps are sloping, evenly spaced and complemented by well-placed handles so that operators have three points of contact when entering/exiting the JCB 411 cab. As the exhaust treatment is not present here, our JCB Diesel by Kohler engines are extremely compact and do not restrict visibility. The sloping angled rear bonnet provides unobstructed visibility, and the exhaust muffler and air intake filter have been positioned out of sight. A two-stage quick coupler disconnect system has been installed in the cab to prevent accidental release of the 411 loader attachment.
