There are two colour LCD screens for navigating the working menus. One of these can display the rear camera.This simple, purpose-designed interface is easy and intuitive to use with an optional control knob.Standard equipment on the JCB 413S wheeled loader includes heated exterior mirrors, which can be electronically adjusted from inside the cab. Convex mirrors are also available to widen the field of vision.
The all-new ventilation system has nine defogging vents and six ventilation vents to ensure visibility and operator comfort in all situations. In addition, the system operates quietly.
All controls are seat-mounted, moving with the suspended seat. You can choose the control system best suited to your operators: a single-lever joystick or a multi-lever version, both with electro-hydraulic functions , ensuring exceptional precision.
Following extensive ergonomic studies of the operator environment, we developed the ‘Command Driving Position’ system, which ensures optimal positioning of controls, taking into account the drivers' diverse physiques.
As there is no DPF, there are no unnecessary additional fuel lines or potentially high temperatures associated with the filter regeneration process. The fuel that would have been used to regenerate your DPF is used for ongoing production tasks.High back-off brakes reduce frictional resistance during on-road driving and reloading; this improves fuel efficiency, and a viscous-coupled fan automatically adjusts speed according to ambient temperature, optimising cooling, saving fuel and reducing noise. An innovative variable displacement pump powers a block of load-responsive valves, drawing power only when required, ensuring precise, efficient control of the loader. Operating specialised mounted implements on the JCB 413S is made easy with in-cab, proportional flow control of the auxiliary circuit.
Our 6-speed transmission gives you a choice of gear ratios for a wide range of applications. In addition, the operator of your loader can select manual or automatic shift modes at the push of a button.
The bucket cushioning - JCB Smoothride - reduces shock from the load and thus reduces load spillage and structural stresses, as well as increasing operator comfort. The travel speed at which the system is engaged is set from inside the cab with the help of the state-of-the-art Command Plus controls.
This loader is equipped with a 4.8-litre JCB EcoMAX engine, producing maximum power (108 kW / 145hp) and torque (560Nm) at low revs for excellent engine response.No need to worry about wasting time and money replacing the diesel particulate filter (DPF). EcoMAX meets Tier 4 Final / Stage IV standards using only exhaust gas recirculation and selective catalytic reduction (SCR). This configuration also improves fuel consumption.With a variety of axle options, you can match its performance to any task.
Open differentials are ideal in hard ground conditions.
Axles with a limited-slip mechanism are excellent for soft, muddy soil conditions.
The standard high-torque arm (type HT) allows parallel lifting and the use of multiple suspended equipment, with excellent visibility of the attachment at all heights. The optional high lifting arm (type HL) allows work to be carried out with loading at greater heights.
The drive decoupling function on the 413S allows you to decouple the drive for more effective, more efficient loader control. This feature controls traction by directing maximum power to your wheeled loader's hydraulics, reducing brake wear and fuel consumption.
We use state-of-the-art manufacturing processes such as robotic machining, precision painting technology and modern assembly techniques , which serves to achieve the highest levels of quality in JCB 413S wheel loaders.The hoses are carefully guided through the central joint and fastened, well away from any pinch points.The steering cylinders are positioned high up and well protected from possible impacts and damage in the workplace.
The centre joint on this loader has a reinforced centre pin and an oversized bushing, as well as double tapered roller bearings that can handle vertical and horizontal loads.
A massive cast rear counterweight protects the 413S cooling block and rear lights from damage. Additional protection is provided by the fixed counter-impact wing edges and caps.
This wheel loader has steel fluid reservoirs, which are exceptionally good protection against leaks, much better than the plastic reservoirs prized by some competitors.
The access steps on this loader are sloping, evenly spaced and complemented by well-placed hand grips to ensure safe contact with the machine. Non-slip walkways and additional optional hand grips ensure operators can move safely around the machine.The full wing aprons have been carefully designed to minimise mud splashes for all tyre types. This design improves safety and reduces dirt accumulation on the machine.The cab is shock-mounted, meets ROPS / FOPS standards and protects against dust through positive pressure. You can choose ambient air filtration or recirculating carbon filters. The battery and toolbox are lockable for better protection.
Our optional rear-view camera displays an unobstructed view behind the machine on the in-cab colour monitor. With optional JCB LED lighting, excellent night-time visibility is guaranteed.
Engines equipped with a DPF, due to the large amount of heat generated in the filter regeneration mode, may be at risk of fire. The new 413S wheel loader does not use a DPF, so this risk does not apply to it.

The unique 6-speed transmission with torque converter locking in each gear provides improved acceleration and excellent performance.
The completely redesigned ROPS with narrow ‘A’ pillars provides a larger interior with an excellent panoramic windscreen. The ‘Command Driving Position’ configuration system provides the optimum arrangement of controls for each operator. You can also adapt the machine by choosing one of the proposed seats and either air conditioning or automatic climate control.
