JCB 419 S

Wheel loaders are a key part of every process on the farm, so the JCB 419S was developed to improve productivity.
Built with only the best components - Cummins engine, ZF gearbox and axles, Rexroth pump, they will be extremely durable. With a high power-to-weight ratio, with 183hp and 841Nm of torque and 180l/min hydraulic flow, they will work without limits in every respect. They provide all-day comfort - the operator in these conditions is, above all, efficient.

They are also safe, easy to service and, with features such as Eco mode and Auto Idle, are also highly fuel-efficient.

  • 185 hp maximum engine power
  • 10613 kg operating weight
  • 1.6 m³ bucket capacity

Our range of wheel loaders incorporates customer input at every stage of the design process, so that they are tailored to meet buyers' requirements. These requirements include safety, performance, ease of operation and maintenance, productivity, reliability and comfort.

As a result, every loader we produce, from the 2-tonne compact hydrostatic drive models to the huge 24-tonne machines with powershift transmission, shares the same DNA.

Each of our wheel loaders is designed first and foremost for high productivity, superior reliability, low maintenance and high versatility. We offer various loader models to meet the requirements of all customers. There is also a whole range of different equipment options and additional attachments.

In terms of performance, the JCB wheel loader is all about high power, high torque, high power-to-weight ratio, powerful breakout forces and excellent traction.

Technical data
UNPARALLELED PERFORMANCE
The Cummins QSB 6.7l engine of this wheel loader produces a massive 136kW (183hp) and a maximum torque of 841Nm at just 1,500rpm, providing excellent response. This unit meets T4F / IV standards without a diesel particulate filter (DPF).
Cycle times on the JCB 419S are short: the variable geometry blade turbocharger provides increased performance at low engine speeds and the powerful single piston variable displacement hydraulic pump gives a significant flow of 180 litres/min.The optional JCB quick coupler on our wheel loaders makes changing attachments quick and easy. The quick coupler is also provided for the operation of aftermarket equipment. The HT arm - high torque - on the JCB 419S provides a choice of parallel or non-parallel lifting and excellent visibility of the loader side - ideal for working with multiple attachments. By selecting the HT high lift arm you can perform work at height with this loader (hoppers, truck and spreader loading ).

To ensure optimum cycle times and efficiency (acceleration, hill climbing, road driving), our unique six-speed gearbox allows the torque converter to be locked in each gear.

JCB's innovative electronic management system can disengage the drive with the brake pedal to allow the loader to work effectively, efficiently. This function controls traction through the transmission and redirects maximum power to the loader's hydraulics, in addition to reducing wear on the service brakes and fuel consumption.

The JCB 419S wheel loader has been developed from the ground up to be successful in agriculture. The high power-to-weight ratio and LSD axles are perfectly suited to agricultural work.

EFFICIENT BY DESIGN
On JCB 419 machines, the Automatic Idle function returns the engine to 750rpm after 30 seconds of inactivity. Another function, Eco Mode, limits engine speed to 1800 rpm for fuel economy. In either case, productivity remains sensational.
Locking the torque converter of the six-speed transmission on this wheeled loader means you can enjoy 100% efficiency in every gear. Shorter ratios mean lower engine revs in each gear for increased performance and lower fuel consumption, as well as greater pushing power. On the JCB 419S, the hydraulic cooling fan automatically responds to ambient temperature and adjusts its speed to optimise cooling, reduce fuel consumption and noise levels. JCB's innovative variable displacement pumps power a load-sensitive valve block that draws power only when required, providing precise, efficient control. When there is no load, the control valves lower the arms using gravity instead of hydraulic force, reducing fuel consumption. Our energy return dump circuit improves cycle times. It also increases fuel economy through reduced hydraulic power consumption. High back-off brakes reduce friction resistance during road travel and handling, increasing fuel economy.

The JCB Smoothride bucket cushioning system reduces impact loads, reduces material spillage and lowers structural stresses, and improves operator comfort. The speed that causes the system to engage is set from the cab using the state-of-the-art Command Plus control.

COMMANDPLUS
The ROPS / FOPS structure on the 419S wheeled loaders has been redesigned. The width of the “A” pillars is the same as the rear of the machine, enlarging the cab interior and the panoramic windscreen. The auxiliary circuit switches and controls are now on the right A-pillar.
There are two colour LCD screens for navigating the working menus. One of these can display the rear camera.Your simple, specially designed JCB interface is easy and intuitive to use with an optional control knob.Standard equipment on the JCB 419S wheeled loader includes heated exterior mirrors, which can be electronically adjusted from the cab.

The all-new ventilation system has nine defogging vents and six ventilation vents to ensure visibility and operator comfort in all situations. In addition, the system operates quietly.

All controls are seat-mounted, moving with the suspended seat. You can choose the control system best suited to your operators: a single-lever joystick or a multi-lever version, both with electro-hydraulic functions for exceptional precision.

Following extensive ergonomic studies of the operator environment, we developed the ‘Command Driving Position’ system, which ensures optimal positioning of controls, taking into account the drivers' diverse physiques.

MINIMUM MAINTENANCE, LONG INTERVALS
Thanks to the large, one-piece bonnet, access to the engine on the new JCB 419S wheel loader is easy. The DEF tank is similarly easy to reach from the rear of the machine.
An electronic machine monitoring system reports the machine's condition and sends real-time warnings, protecting both the 419S and the operator. An optional automatic lubrication kit means the machine will carry out the necessary lubrication itself, while a wide-channel cooling block and programmable reversible fan will ensure effective cooling in environments where volatile contaminants are abundant. The use of excellent components , such as the Cummins engine, ZF gearbox and axles, Rexroth pump and Husco valve block has ensured the JCB 419S machine has an exceptional service life.

The braking system on this machine is almost maintenance-free, thanks to the dual-circuit hydraulic multidisc brakes in an oil bath.

Most Tier 4 Final / Stage IV engines use diesel particulate filters (DPFs), costly and time-consuming to replace. The Cmmins engine has no DPF, reducing servicing and operating costs.

SAFE DRIVING
On the new JCB 419S wheel loader, heated rear-view mirrors have been installed at the front of the A-pillars for improved visibility. The interior mirrors, together with the rear view camera, provide excellent visibility around the entire machine.
The access steps are sloping, evenly spaced and complemented by well-placed handholds to ensure safe access to the machine.
Non-slip walkways and additional optional hand grips ensure operators can climb onto the machine safely.
DPF-equipped engines can be exposed to a fire hazard due to the high amount of heat generated in filter regeneration mode. The new 419S does not use a DPF, so this risk does not apply to it.The cab is mounted on shock absorbers, meets ROPS / FOPS standards and protects against dust thanks to positive pressure. You can choose ambient air filtration or recirculating carbon filters.
